Thanksgiving pumpkin pie, power smoothie

Have a lot to prepare for Thanksgiving and need a bit of a boost?
Try this pumpkin pie power smoothie inspired by one of the lovely mum’s from my farmer’s market kids’ workshops.

NutriSue - pumpkin pie power smoothie

pumpkin pie, power smoothie
1 cup coconut milk beverage or your favourite milk alternative
1/2 cup cooked pumpkin
1/2 banana
1 tsp molasses
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground or fresh ginger
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tbsp ground flax (optional)
Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until everything is well incorporated.
Serve in a tall glass with a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
Not just for Thanksgiving, this smoothie will give you a power boost anytime!
