week 2 of my parasite cleanse

It’s day 10 of my parasite cleanse.

Warning: This gets a little graphic, ie mucous, phlegm and BMs, so if you’re squeamish about such things, you may want to skip this post.

Ok, so I’ve been absent for a little while. I was hoping to post daily on the cleanse, but to tell you the truth – there’s not really much to report on.
Week 1 went ok, although I was really hungry, actually ravenous all week. Not sure if that was due to the cleanse or not, but it seems to have calmed down now.
I also noticed quite a bit of nose blowing and nasal mucous in the first week which has also seemed to taper off. I do however seem to have a lot of phlegm in my throat.

The one thing I can really report on is how bitter the black walnut, wormwood and cloves are and I was reflecting on this today:
I seemed to be in a bad mood all last week. I had bitterness and resentment toward others and what they have and I don’t.
I can’t say that this is the first time I have felt this way, but it’s been a very long time I think, and I wonder if it is associated with the bitterness of the herbs.
My feeling is that there is a relationship.
I think that the parasites and their toxins (waste) have been running freely through my body. There’s a lot of flushing with increased water consumption and elimination (read  BM’s) but I’m sure there’s a tendency for some accumulation.

The protocol this week is:
30 drops of black walnut, 3 times daily
2 capsules wormwood, 3 times daily
2 capsules ground cloves, 3 times daily (I’m now using store bought clove capsules from my health food store, because grinding my own cloves was ruining my coffee grinder. Cloves are very oily when you grind them and they were pitting the machine and making it almost impossible to clean)

I’m curious to hear from others who have done parasite cleanses.
How did you feel during the cleanse?
What method did you use?
Did you notice a change in any of your symptoms.

Please comment below – I’d love to hear your experiences.

  1. Hi there Sue,

Just double-checking, did you mean you’re taking 30 drops of black walnut hulls, above?

That’s a lot, no wonder you’re experiencing die-off. I am on day 2 of a parasite cleanse using a black walnut/wormwood/cloves tincture. I’ve done them several times before. The last time I did a parasite cleanse about 9 months ago I had a much easier time of it than I’ve had in the past. I had battles with candida overgrowth a few years ago so I think that really compounded the die-off effect of the parasite cleanse, with lots of brain fog as well. Hopefully that won’t happen this time, but we will see.

I’ve been feeling very emotional today. I did have something happen recently that *would* make me feel emotional but I’m questioning now whether maybe it has something to do with the cleanse. I started yesterday on 4 drops 3 x a day, and then today on 5. I don’t really know if that is enough to cause emotional effects, but I also know everyone is different, too.

  2. Hi susieq777, thanks for your comment and sharing your experiences. You caught a mistake that I’ve just corrected. I had stated that I was taking 30 drops of wormwood, when in fact I was taking 30 drops of black walnut.
Like you, I found myself very emotional during the cleanse. I did 3 weeks in total. What helped me was drinking lots of filtered water to remove the dead parasites and toxins out of my body. I finished 3 weeks of the cleanse a week ago and I’m not sure if I’ve noticed much of a difference in any symptoms I had before I started the cleanse, but for me, I thinking doing a yearly cleanse is a good idea.
    Hope yours goes well.
Keep me posted on how you’re feeling.
    In good health, Sue

  3. I’m on day 7 of my cleanse using paracleanse and supplementing intermittently with garlic cloves and black walnut tincture. Around day 5 I started feeling very short and I’m starving even when I eat, which is new to me. I noticed I’m coughing up mucous from my lungs and I sweat very easily. I have been passing world record stools and my stomach feels better. Itsa mixed bag of effects but i think its helping.
